There are few moments when the world feels connected and humanity shines. As artists we strive to create from this place and to feel connected through art. The night I watched the astronauts descend back to Earth and splash down, I felt deeply moved. I was an emotional mess. It was humanity on full display. And so refreshing to feel so connected to something on such a HUGE scale. Courage, vulnerability, unity.
From that place - pure, unfiltered, and deeply intentional - this piece was created.
